Tiger population data

Compared to the tourist visiting Chitwan National Park before Covid during 2019 , the tourist now visiting after 2022 , we have increased 30 % more chances of spotting tigers .

For spotting tigers , the best way is by the long jungle walks for 5 Nights 6 days Package where we walk inside the National Park for 15-20 km every days for 3 days and at the same time we go for long full day jeep safari inside the national Park . While doing this the well trained, well educated, the local nature guides are well known about the tiger behaviors and there movements .

During the months of February , March and April the temperature rises in Chitwan till 38-40 degrees Centigrade and in this hot and humid temperature , there is more movement of animals in day time in the search of water, and on those months , we have short grasses and we can spot more animals ,.

On 2023, in the month of February to April , every day some groups , some jeeps, some walking guest spotted tigers , but its still need luck .

Probably this was the year where we saw maximum number of tigers , sloth bears inside Chitwan National Park .

One of our guest a couple from Germany , Mr Thomas who saw tiger during April said

We had just a wonderful time with all the people from the resort . Sangam organized everything perfectly. We did not have to follow a set schedule, things were organized the way we wanted to. We like that!

We did a two day jungle walk with a stay inside the park. We saw all kinds of animals. On the second day we were having lunch by the river watching the gavial crocs when all of the sudden a tiger jumped in the water ! Wow!

Everything there even the Jeep ride was very demanding due to the very high temperature, the bush fires, the dust, and the heavy air.

So even another big thanks for the team to always provide lots of water and great food !
